This year’s Apple Festival was successful and a great way for STAND T.A.L.L. to gain more public recognition as we gave away over 100 stuffed plush animal toys to children and more than 1000 hand-held fans with photos of our K-9 Dino on one side and our Logo on the other to those who visited our booth and battled the heat of the event. In addition, Barker’s Anonymous donated several hundred “Doggie Treat” bags that we gave to dog owners who stopped by to visit our tent.

STAND T.A.L.L. was contacted by the Polk County Sheriff’s Office K-9 Division and is now raising funds for dog kennels and other much needed equipment for their five K-9s. You can donate to help us provide the more than $5000 needed for the items they requested!
STAND T.A.L.L. has begun a new project for counseling, seminars and training to provide funds for cognitive health & mental wellness for law enforcement and other first responders struggling with PTSD, depression, anxiety, suicidal ideation, and other challenges that are associated with job-related trauma.
Once again, STAND T.A.L.L. will participate in the SHOP WITH A HERO program. This is an annual Christmas charity program to provide disadvantaged children chosen by their school guidance counselors and teachers from the Henderson County School System to each receive $100 gift cards.
This year we’d like to sponsor 15 of the 100 children who will be selected. Each of the children will be accompanied by a member of STAND T.A.L.L., law enforcement and other area first responders at Walmart for their shopping spree December 7th, buying Christmas gifts for their siblings, parents, and themselves.
